Content rules

Saunatic is for sauna inspiration: places, builds, details and the culture around them. These rules keep it a place everyone can browse with confidence.
What you share
Share pictures you took yourself, or that you clearly have the right to use. No spam, no advertising disguised as inspiration, and keep it about saunas.
People in pictures
Only upload pictures of people who have agreed to be shown here. Saunas and changing areas are especially private places - a recognizable person who never agreed is reason enough for removal, no questions asked. Use the report choice "A person in the picture hasn't agreed to it" and we take it down.
No nudity
People in clothes, swimwear or towels are welcome. Exposed nudity is not, in any form - including artistic pictures. Sexual content involving minors leads to immediate removal, a closed account and a report to the authorities.
How you treat each other
Comments and reviews are about saunas, not about the people behind them. No harassment, threats, insults, hate against groups, or sharing of anyone's personal details. Disagree about löyly all you like - kindly.
Honest reviews
Review only places you have actually visited, in your own words. No reviews of your own sauna, no bought or traded reviews, no campaigns against a competitor. A review that turns out to be fake is removed and counts against the account.
Illegal content
Anything illegal - stolen pictures, defamation, incitement, content involving minors - is removed and, where the law requires, reported. Every report has an “illegal content” reason, and you can also write to report@saunatic.app.
How checking works
Every image is checked automatically before it can appear in the feed. Clear cases are decided at once; uncertain ones wait for a human. That is also why a fresh upload can say "Being checked" for a little while.
Reports and consequences
Every image, comment and review has a report action with a reason. Reports go to the moderators. Content that breaks these rules is removed, accounts that keep breaking them are suspended - and whoever is affected is told what was done and why, in the app.
